CONDICIONAMENTO GENGIVAL ATRAVÉS DE PROVISÓRIO

Abstract

Gengival conditioning through interim.
The prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous areas is often hindered by the presence of bone defects, such as atrophy, lip, and mucogengival, as the absence of papillae. Periodontal surgical procedures and conditioning gingival provisional represent alternative management of edentulous areas to be rehabilitated. This article aims at reporting a case where, by gum conditioning technique, we obtained significant gains in thickness and contour in gingival edentulous area, improving the aesthetic condition of the final reconstruction.

ANGINA DE LUDWIG DECORRENTE DE COMPLICAÇÕES EM EXODONTIAS DE TERCEIROS MOLARES INFERIORES

Abstract


The Ludwig’s Angina occurs from a complication in exodontia of the third lower molar Cellulite that occurs in dental infection in more than 90% of the cases, is still a threat to the patient’s life, for its imminent risk of obstruction of the airways. It is clinically characterized for volumetric increase in submandibular, sublingual and submentonian facial spaces. The success of the treatment is based on rapid diagnosis, antibiotic therapy, maintenance of the airways and the infectious focus drainage.

CIRURGIA MUCOGENGIVAL EM REGIÃO PERIIMPLANTAR

Abstract


Surgery in mucogingival region periimplant. The aesthetic has been a dominant factor in the direction and development of implantology. In addition to the anatomy of the tooth to be replaced, and the healthy appearance of the tissue harmonic periimplant are preponderant in rehabilitative treatment end. The resolution increasing clinical cases using implants in edentulous unit or part associated with social changes, meant that demand aesthetic happened to be a decisive factor to be considered for development and success of periodontal plastic surgery technique involves various techniques for treating deformities or disabilities and mucogingivals periimplant and often these procedures require the use of gingival tissue graft. The subepithelial connective tissue graft has been used with a high success rate for obtaining aesthetics, function and health of periimplant mucosa. Taking this view, important factors began to be considered, such as bone and gum tissue prosthetic element and its future, as they interrelate with adjacent teeth.
